The Field Station Operations Leader will have administrative leadership responsibilities over the technical staff, including, but are limited to, coaching of the technical staff to maximize performance, building a strong safety culture, adhering to DAS safety and compliance policies, and development of employee careers. In addition, the Field Station Operations Leader will apply field breeding methodologies; provide field plot design expertise, breeding knowledge, interpersonal skills, agronomic expertise, and field equipment experience to all applicable activities.  All actions will be conducted in a fair and safe manner.<br/><br/>Responsibilities:<br/><br/>- Work with site leader and plant breeders to develop and manage an annual station budget that supports research goals and objectives.  Will be the implementation lead for all station budget activities.<br/>- Assume the role of site team leader.
