Key Responsibilities:

Qualifications

Finance Analyst– Cost Accountant (m/f)

(1 year contract)

Job based in Mougins.

Job Overview:

Under the direction of the area business finance leader and his team, the incumbent will be responsible for the following key job expectations:

- Manages cost-object master data, assists business partners in managing their cost / expense performance, and ensures expenses are recorded in the appropriate period
- Coordinates and assists business partners to complete annual budgets in line with Corporate, Business and / or Functional guidelines and timing
- Educates business partners on Accounting Policies and internal control matters, and advises on the potential impacts of their decisions. Resolves any identified problem as they arise
- Proactive coordination with Operations and Supply Chain to review and approve all DAS product transfers involving one or more DAS entities
- Act as Financial Representative in the Modify Supply Chain Team
- Consult and ascertain compliance for VAT, Intrastat, Legal Transfer Pricing and Customs Clearance.
- Support on request legal margin investigation for all DAS entities in Europe including "Distributors only" entities.
- Control compilation and execution of all work back calculations for legal transfer pricing in close coordination with costs accountants
- Coordinate and validate price adjustments if required
- Participates pro-actively in work process improvement efforts. Knowledgeable in the use of Dow's transaction and reporting platforms
- Review and develop a proposal in conjunction with Tax department to manage DAS Europe HQ expenses. Implement and operate that proposal when approved.

Qualifications

- Job requires university qualification and knowledge and skills usually associated with the completion of the job

( It would be preferred Bachelor or Master degree of accounting / business administration ).

- Fluent in English, spoken and written.
- Occasional travel to other Dow locations ( mfg plants/stock counts)
- SAP and microsoft office knowledge.

As a territory sales representative, you will become a member of a highly effective sales team which utilizes innovative marketing tools to meet customer needs.

Your Primary responsibilities will include:

- Increasing Dow AgroSciences sales and market share in the defined territory (Moosomin, Manitoba) and market.

- Developing and nurturing relationships with retailers and distributors to promote the use of Dow AgroSciences products

- Driving demand by providing agronomic solutions to the end users.

- Developing, and executing account plans as part of an overall territory plan which supports the objectives of the overall business plan.

Achieve Territory Sales Goals:

- Achieve a Crop Year Territory Sales Forecast for all Ag Chem. and Nexera products

Strategic Customers:

- Increase willingness-to-recommend and achieve sales forecast with focus retails

- Build relationships with key farmers, achieving 100% Nexera awareness, increase overall satisfaction/loyalty

- Increase willingness-to-recommend with key wholesale and regional contacts resulting in increased organizational support

1) A University degree from Agriculture, Business/Management, or a Science program is required.

3) This role is based from a virtual office located in Moosomin (or within the defined territory).

4) A valid driver's license is required. The role requires extensive daily travel within a sales territory.

5) This job is offering COUNTRY/REGION relocation within Canada only.
